CinéSemaine is an independent website dedicated to films, series, and anime. User experience is our top priority, while guaranteeing maximum confidentiality of your data.

Users can access the site without creating an account, but some interactive features (forms, request tracking) require an account or the entry of certain information.

Accounts are only active after email verification. Unverified accounts are automatically deleted.

6. Tracking by ID

Each form generates a unique ID for viewing and modification.

The tracking page only allows you to view certain limited information regarding the request, including :

Some information may be intentionally masked or limited in order to protect personal data and the confidentiality of exchanges.

6.2 Consultation logging

To ensure the security of the service and prevent abuse, the site records consultations made on the tracking page.

The following information can be recorded :

  • the email address provided in the consultation form
  • the entered request ID
  • the date and time of the consultation
  • the search result (whether the request was found or not)

These technical journals allow, in particular, to :

  • detect unauthorized access attempts
  • prevent abuse or fraudulent consultation attempts

6.3 Notification of consultations

To enhance security, an email can be manually sent to the user to inform them :

For each request, a processing start date and a retention end date are recorded. The retention end date is 12 months after the processing start date.

After this period, the data is deleted or anonymized.

CinéSemaine may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page along with the date of the update.

13. Security

The data is stored on Firebase with access limited to the administrator. No data is used without email verification.
