My opinion
Belle is a visually stunning anime, with colors and animations that bring a captivating virtual world to life. The story is engaging, but it's the music—especially the French version featuring Louane—that truly stands out for its intensity and emotion. At first, it can be difficult to connect with either Suzu or Belle, but the film gradually succeeds in forging a strong bond with these two facets of the character.
The story subtly explores the duality between the real and virtual worlds, while showing that behind every action lies a reason that shouldn't be hastily judged. Secondary characters, like "the dragon," are handled with sensitivity and add unexpected surprises and emotions.
The ending, touching and fitting, surprises despite certain hints, and the film's moral is clear: understand before you judge. One also senses a modern inspiration from Beauty and the Beast, reinterpreted with a Japanese twist. Belle is an anime worth watching for its aesthetics, its music, and its powerful emotion.
