My opinion
Children of the Resistance is a restrained and well-crafted film.
The direction is clean, the pacing balanced, and the film never tries too hard.
It's never boring; everything flows naturally, and the story remains accessible while addressing its subject matter with seriousness.
It's an effective film, driven by precise direction, that leaves a positive impression without any artifice.
Having seen it at a preview screening, the film impressed me with its simplicity and effectiveness. It doesn't try to impress, but to tell a story, and it does so with precision.
